It’s hard to believe, but they’ve been best friends for 37 years—37! Just yesterday they were high school girls, laughing together and navigating life side by side. They even worked their first job together when they were 16 and 17—how crazy is that? Then, life took them in different directions. Mari ended up in Bradenton, Florida, and Belinda moved to Houston, Texas. But no matter how far apart they were, their bond never weakened. When Mari finally made the move to Houston, they couldn’t have been more excited to pick up exactly where they left off, as friends, moms, and now grandmas. They’re total opposites—like yin and yang, or coffee and decaf (yes, that different)—but somehow, it works. Their differences balance each other out, filling their friendship with laughter, chaos, and a lot of shared dreams. It's the kind of friendship that fills you up, even when you’re running on empty.
